A Milwaukee man could be facing more than 50 years in jail if he is convicted of charges relating to his alleged involvement in three armed robberies. Media sources indicate that the separate incidents occurred on Aug. 4, Aug. 6 and Aug. 12 and that the 29-year-old man may have been working with an accomplice. According to news sources, he is facing one count of felony murder, one count of armed robbery and one count of fraudulent use of a credit card. Charges are pending for his 26-year-old accomplice.
According to the criminal complaint, during the first armed robbery, the man watched as his accomplice pistol-whipped a woman in the face. She ultimately surrendered her purse to the alleged robbers. According to the report, during the robbery on Aug. 12, the man held a loaded gun to a woman’s head and took her jacket and purse. Sources indicate that the credit cards stolen during these two incidents were used after the robberies.
A dollar-store employee was killed during an alleged robbery on Aug. 6. During that incident, the accomplice killed the person who was working at the register of a Milwaukee Family Dollar store, and the man drove the get-away car. Court documents claim that the accomplice implicated himself and the man in the robbery and murder through comments he made after the crime.
When a Milwaukee resident is facing a felony charge, an attorney experienced in handling criminal litigation may be able to help clients identify alternatives to incarceration. An attorney could also effectively negotiate the best possible terms for these clients with prosecutors outside of the courtroom. In the event that the case proceeded to trial, an attorney might be able to examine the evidence gathered by the state and build a viable defense, obtaining optimal results for each client.
